Assistive Software Skills Workshop: Mind maps for assignments

Have you ever used a mind map to plan an assignment? Come along to this participatory workshop to find out how, or take your mind-mapping to the next level!

In this hour-long workshop in person workshop on the Canterbury campus, we’re teaming up with the Student Learning Advisory Service (SLAS) to show you the wonderful world of mind maps, and how they can help you plan your assignments. SLAS will take us through the basics of what a mind map is and how it can be used effectively, and then we’ll show you some great apps (Inspiration and Mind View) to help you prepare and use them. This session is open to all, although we particularly welcome students with an Inclusive Learning Plan. Please bring a phone or tablet or laptop which you might use to access this software in future.

If you have any questions about the workshop, or accessibility requirements, please email DigitalAccess@kent.ac.uk.
