Microsoft Office Speech

Listen to Microsoft documents read aloud

Functionality

Speak is a built-in feature of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote. You can use Speak to have text read aloud in the language of your version of Office. Text to speech can be used to support those who struggle with print-based information. This includes learners with specific learning difficulties like dyslexia or those where English is not their first language. Speak can be used to proofread documents for spelling or grammar mistakes and make digesting a large document easier by listening rather than reading.
