Dr Linus Peitz

About

Dr Linus Peitz is a social psychologist working as a research associate on the ‘Prison Leavers Project’ led by Professor Alex Stevens (University of Kent), as well as the 'Righting Recidivism' project led by Dr Martha Newson (Future Leaders Fellow, University of Greenwich), investigating re-offending behaviour and its cognitive underpinnings.

He received his PhD in social psychology from the University of Kent in 2021 and has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Psychology at the Philipps University Marburg and the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent.

Research interests

Linus’ research focuses on the impact of social groups and networks on peoples’ attitudes and behaviours in different social, professional and political contexts.
