Events and Seminars
The school hosts two public lectures a year, the Stirling Lecture and the DICE Lecture. These bring current ideas in anthropology and conservation respectively to a wider audience, both inside and outside the university. In addition the School (through the Centre for Biocultural Diversity) co-sponsors with the Royal Botanic Gardens the Annual Ethnobotany Lecture.
Each term also brings seminars discussing current research in Anthropology, Conservation and Human Ecology. The Spring 2017 programmes are as follows:
- Anthropology Seminar Series
- Human Ecology Seminar Series and Reading Group
- Centre for Biocultural Diversity (CBCD) Guest Lectures and Seminars
