About

Christie is a lecturer in Social and Organisational Psychology. Her research interests are concerned with leadership and employee wellbeing.
She has also been part of a research team investigating workplace wellbeing initiatives working in partnership with the Kent branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. 

Research interests

Christie's research focuses on positive leadership. More specifically, the influence of positive leadership on employee wellbeing and the mediating role of social identification in this association.
Christie is also interested in investigating the effectiveness of workplace wellbeing initiatives as well as the influence of organisational framing and leadership involvement in these initiatives.
