A partnership between Kent and Greenwich at Medway has transformed a listed building and former swimming pool into a vibrant, state-of-the-art student centre.

Set across two levels, the Student Hub features a café/bar known as The Deep End, as well as large, open-plan spaces for a range of social events and entertainment. These include live music nights, quizzes and big film screenings.

The Hub also houses the offices of GK Unions, the partnership between the Students’ Union University of Greenwich (SUUG) and Kent Union. A number of networked quiet study spaces are situated on the first floor.

The Student Hub opened its doors on Monday 16 January.

One of the first events to take place there will be a ‘Refreshers Fair’ on Wednesday 25 January. This will showcase an extensive range of clubs and societies for students to join. Activities on the day include a snowboarding simulator.
