Dr Eleanor Jeffrey-Chaplen
Dr Eleanor Jeffrey-Chaplen is a Specialist Associate Lecturer with a diverse background spanning biomedical science, medical diagnostic and pharmaceutical sales, legal education, and vocational training. She holds an LLB with First Class Honours and a PhD in Law from the University of Kent, where her research explored the admissibility of expert evidence in criminal trials.
Eleanor has a wide teaching portfolio across different institutions where she has worked with a variety of learners, including police apprentices and both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Eleanor is known for her inclusive, interdisciplinary and enthusiastic approach to education and her belief in lifelong learning.
She is a Member of the Institute of Biomedical Science (MIBMS) and also serves as Company Secretary for her partner’s Quantity Surveying business.
