Dr Edd Pitt
Edd is the Head of the Curriculum and Educational Development Team (CEDT), Programme Director for the Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, and Reader in Higher Education and Academic Practice at the University of Kent, UK. Edd is also a Principal Fellow of the HEA (PFHEA), and a National Teaching Fellow (NTF)
Edd has recently been collaborating with Academics in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. His principal research field is Assessment and Feedback with a particular focus upon the development of staff and student feedback literacy.
Edd has recently been collaborating with Academics in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong on a number of research projects surrounding the following areas: Anonymity in Assessment, Examination Feedback, Fairness in Groupwork, Self-Assessment Rubrics and the development of staff and student feedback literacy. He is the author of a systematic review of assessment and feedback research commissioned by Advance HE and the subsequent recently released an associated game-based workshop called Assessment & Feedback Superchargers.
