Why did you choose to study at Kent Business School?

I chose Kent Business School (KBS) as it is a leading business school in the UK with a great reputation and also the possibility to study in an international environment appealed to me.

What attracted you to your course?

I wanted to pursue a Master’s to prepare for a career working in the financial side of business and to expand my existing knowledge of key components of financial systems. I liked the structure of the programme with the benefit of optional modules.  

What are you particularly enjoying about your studies/time here?

I enjoy working with highly motivated students and getting to know friendly people from all around the world. I also like working in the School’s modern teaching facilities, which provide postgraduate research areas and access to the Bloomberg Terminal. It has been great living in the postgraduate accommodation at the peaceful campus which is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and nature.

What is the level of support like here for postgraduates?

I have experienced a great amount of support and guidance from the faculty who are always willing to help. In addition to receiving support within the academic area, you have the opportunity to discuss your future with the Careers and Employability Service. The School also hosts industry talks for students to gain insights into potential career paths.

What skills do you think you have gained that will help you in your career?

I have gained a very comprehensive framework of knowledge and deepened my research and analytical skills. Alongside this, I have also developed on both a personal and professional level, which I believe will help me towards my future career aspirations.
