By participating in task-based seminars, interactive writing exercises, and collaborative projects, you will develop the necessary language skills to communicate clearly in Arabic at an intermediate level. As you expand your Arabic vocabulary, you will apply it across various contexts and utilising a variety of media, enhancing your capacity to express ideas with increasing flexibility. This process will be bolstered by vocabulary-building activities and immersive conversations with peers on key concepts related to familiar topics (e.g. university, work, leisure). Your learning will be supported by guided readings, discussions, and comprehension exercises that encourage critical thinking. In role-playing scenarios and group discussions, you will express your opinions and exchange information on everyday subjects, further developing and showcasing your communication skills at the intermediate level. At the same time, you will cultivate a critical understanding of the cultures and lifestyles in Arabic-speaking countries, enriching your knowledge and cultural sensitivity through research projects, cultural presentations, and exposure to authentic materials.
