his module invites you to step forward as confident, culturally aware leaders equipped for an increasingly interconnected world. Through a blend of workshops, experiential learning, and reflective practice, students will develop the global leadership skills needed to communicate and collaborate effectively across diverse cultural contexts.
You will explore key concepts such as Cultural Intelligence (CQ), global citizenship, and leadership in a global context. You will assess and reflect on your own CQ profile, gaining insight into how culture influences behaviour, decision-making, and communication. These insights will be applied to contemporary global challenges and leadership scenarios.
A central feature of the module is practical leadership experience. You will plan, organise, and deliver projects or events that contribute meaningfully to the university community. Through these activities, you will develop transferable skills including project management, teamwork, planning, and problem-solving.
Throughout the module, you will engage in ongoing reflective practice, supported by the integration of CQ and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) frameworks. You will evaluate your own personal development, identify areas for growth, and articulate how your emerging global skillset can be applied to future professional contexts.
