Overview

Almost all listed companies in the European Union and the United Kingdom have to prepare financial statements that comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). Without acquiring a thorough understanding of how financial statements are prepared under IFRSs, the management of any company will not have sufficient skills to identify trends, potential threats, and actively track their financial performance in real-time. On this module, you’ll develop the knowledge and skills to understand and apply the IFRS. We’ll develop the ability to apply the right theory to the preparation of financial statements and learn how to analyze major elements of those financial statements. Learning how to apply IFRSs will prepare you with the necessary skills to become a successful accounting and finance professional.
