Learning outcomes

On successfully completing the module, students will be able to: 

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial risk management principles and apply appropriate techniques and data to identify, assess, and recommend strategies for managing key financial risks.
Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of different financial risk management approaches and analyse their relationship with corporate sustainability and financial system resilience.
Effectively communicate financial risk management concepts and recommendations through analysing, and interpreting financial risk data to specialist and non-specialist audience.
Consider the regulatory, economic, and cultural context when making financial risk management decisions, ensuring that ethical principles and professional standards are consistently upheld.
