School of Anthropology & Conservation

Excellence in diversity Global in reach

Events and Seminars

The school hosts two public lectures a year, the Stirling Lecture and the DICE Lecture. These bring current ideas in anthropology and conservation respectively to a wider audience, both inside and outside the university. In addition the School (through the Centre for Biocultural Diversity) co-sponsors with the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew , the Annual Ethnobotany Lecture.

Current research in anthropology and conservation is discussed in weekly seminar series (term time only).
