Create and run behavioural experiments online
Functionality
PsychoPy is a free cross-platform package which allows you to run a wide range of experiments in the behavioural sciences (neuroscience, psychology, psychophysics, linguistics ...). This open source software is a community project in which you are encouraged to share your studies, which can be lab-based or run online on the Pavlovia website. Flexible and intuitive, PsychoPy’s builder interface includes hardware accelerated graphics and built-in calibration tools so you can create dynamic, interactive studies.
Tips for using this tool at Kent
- Available on PCs in the School of Psychology. If not found, contact helpdesk@kent.ac.uk
- Download PsychoPy on your own device from: Release PsychoPy 2024.1.4 · psychopy/psychopy · GitHub
Please ensure that this version (2024.1.4) is used. Using the latest version will likely result in experiments not being able to be ran in the labs/School PC's due to compatibility issues.
