The MoU was signed by University of Kent Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Karen Cox, and Canterbury Christ Church Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Rama Thirunamachandran, on 13 October.
The document pledges to maintain and enhance academic collaboration, staff and student wellbeing and community engagement over the next three years.
It affirms the commitment to coordinate on providing the best student welfare, safety and support services, as well as working together on any other relevant extra-curricular activities and campaigns; and to ensure that the shared Medway campus has the necessary facilities and programmes for its development.
Arts, culture, sport, staff support and local health initiatives are other areas covered by the MoU.
