General fabrication and welding duties are carried out in our workshop which is equipped with milling and turning facilities.

The Mechanical department operates a 24/7 emergency call out service. In the event of a mechnical emergency, outside of normal working hours (08:00 - 16:30), contact Campus Watch (3300) who will make the necessary arrangements for the duty fitter to attend.

Specialised contractors are used for certain tasks including; unblocking drains, repairing water boilers, generators and pumps.
