Dan King and Grant Tilford, IT Support Technicians

The nomination was received from Melissa Browne, Deputy Director of CSE.  Dan and Grant attended the recent food event in Darwin Conference Suite to resolve an IT issue.  However, when leaving they recognised the catering team were overwhelmed by the number of people that had to be served and rolled up your sleeves to help.  Melissa acknowledges that Dan and Grant went above and beyond to ensure the catering event was a great success.

Francisca Stangel, Receptionist, Kent Sport

The nomination was received from Elaine Long, Reception Manager.  During the launch of the new female only gym sessions Francisca demonstrated excellent customer service skills, to ensure the sessions were a success.  Francisca dealt with some challenging situations efficiently, whilst remaining calm and professional throughout.

In awarding you the Staff Excellence Award the Senior Management Team, acknowledge the impact made to both the Department and the University.  In recognition of the award, all award winners will receive a £75 top up to their Kent One cards. Trevor Pereira, Director of Commercial Services and Estates presented certifications to the winners on Thursday 27 July 2023, in the Senior Team Lounge, Estates Building.
