Peter Czarnomski, Director of Estates, recently hosted the AUDE Conference 2018 (Association of University Directors of Estates) on behalf of the University of Kent. The works consisted of a new entrance extension on the east and west sides of Marlowe Building creating a focal point for the school, incorporating new egg shaped meeting rooms, 12 new offices, a new reception and admin office, and breakout social spaces for staff, students and visitors. The total amount raised from the Estates Christmas Charity Raffle 2017 was £970, and with further monies added to it which have been accrued over the year, the charity – MIND (nominated by Emily Mason) will receive a cheque for an Estates record-breaking £1834.14!
