Sophie-Helene Trigeaud is a research associate and the field researcher in Geneva for this research project. She focused on the RNGOS' activities at the Human Rights Council with methods combining qualitative and quantitive approaches.

 

Sophie-Helene Trigeaud is a research associate and the field researcher in Geneva for this research project. She focused on the RNGOS' activities at the Human Rights Council with methods combining qualitative and quantitive approaches. She has several papers forth-coming from this research: on Christian Prayer for Human Rights, on the RNGO's Contribution to the Rights of the Child, or on the Religion-Secular binary in International Politics (with Jeremy Carrette).

She is also in charge of the organisation of the dissemination events and, in association with the Uni. of Kent web team (with S. Gavin), of the website of this project.

Her education is in social anthropology, in sociology, and in philosophy, with a doctoral degree from the Ecole de Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, under the dir. of D. Hervieu-Leger. Besides different researches, she participated in other research projects for the Association for the Sociology of Religion, under the dir. of W. H. Swatos.

She taught in sociology and religious studies (Univ. Paris 12, INSEP, 2005-2007;EHESSas ATER, 2007-09; Univ. of Kent 2011-12; with French MCF Qualifications by the National Council of the Universities, in sociology and anthropology, 2009).
