History of the Gulbenkian
This project focuses on the history of one of the social and artistic centres on the University campus: the Gulbenkian Theatre. The primacy of this venue as both a social hub and a platform for artistic expression is at the heart of this project. The extensive archive at the Templeman Library and the oral histories of past and present performers, staff, students, employees and members of the public are needed to ascertain the importance of this artistic centre to both the University of Kent and the wider community.
