An interactive wall was created to portray 50 years of student media at Kent. Based at the new Student Media Centre, the project used a range of designs and mediums to showcase the media work of students studying at Kent since the 1960s, when the first University newspaper and radio station were launched. Archives were trawled to find the first editions and broadcasts, which were built into the design of the wall, making the journey through the centre a full sensory experience.
The interactive wall was launched during the University’s 50th Festival across 4-6 September 2015.
