Development Office

Development Office

The Development Office is responsible for alumni relations, fundraising, corporate events and the University's degree congregations and seeks to:

  • Raise funds for an extensive series of University projects
  • Develop and enhance the University’s relationships with its alumni and friends worldwide
  • Co-ordinate and manage the annual congregations ceremonies and plan and execute corporate events for the University.

Developing our University

All philanthropic gifts from the University’s alumni and friends to Kent help to ensure that we remain at the forefront of academic research and teaching.

This support enables us to provide assistance to students for all aspects of life at Kent, from advancing academic facilities, providing scholarships, investing in research excellence and innovative degree programmes so that they and the University can have a positive impact on the world around them.

The University of Kent is an exempt charity pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Charities Act.

Director

Alison Coles, Director of Development and Alumni Relations, leads the teams responsible for implementing the Development Office's activities.
