17.00-09.00 After 17.00 today, EMS share on Gromit will be set to read only, normal access will be restored before 09.00 tomorrow morning. Any user with a live PST stored on the EMS share are advised to close Outlook during this period.

Journal related issues
CAMBRIDGE JOURNALS online resource - if using Internet Explorer in 'Compatibility Mode', we recommend either turning 'Compatibility Mode' off or using an alternative browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox.
JOURNAL SEARCH - Titles listed as available via Westlaw International are not currently accessible from Journal Search. To access the journal please go to Westlaw UK click on Services at the top of the screen and select Westlaw International and search for the journal.
MOODLE ARCHIVE (http://moodle-archive.kent.ac.uk) is currently unavailable from off campus. Please use the VPN (http://www.kent.ac.uk/itservices/home/vpn/) service if you need to access the archive when not using an internet connection based on campus.
WEB OF SCIENCE & WEB OF KNOWLEDGE
Web of Science & Web of Knowledge both have a problem currently, that makes it crash in Internet Explorer when used on campus PCs. Student PCs on campus will be updated to Internet Explorer 11 (with compatilibility mode off) by the start of academic year 2014/15 which will fix the issue for those PCs. For PCs with older versions on Internet Explorer the following is a work-round:
Turning off compatibility mode in Internet Explorer (this may break other sites, but the risk is low) as follows fixes the issue, and we are working on a long term solution:
Tools > Compatibility view settings > untick the box that says "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" > apply changes
