Card Access

The Estates Department is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all electronic doors across the Canterbury and Medway campuses. We program all staff and student ID cards with main door and internal academic door access.

If you have lost your card, please inform the Card Access System Administrator immediately

ID Card Alteration

  • Request a card access alteration (Name/ Date/Card Number or Access permission change)

ID Card Deactivation

  • Inform us of a Staff or Student leaver


Requests for new card access doors/ locks should be submitted via the Rechargeable Works Request system.

Approximate lead times and budgetary costs are;

Standard bedroom style (£550 - £330 depending on the quantity ordered) - 6 to 7 weeks from the date of raised order.
Remote hardwired square box reader (£1700 - £3000 specification details and panel terminal availability permitting) 4 - 5 weeks.
