Makerspace

The space consists of a large open-plan workshop area known as 'The Shed'. In the middle there are a number of moveable workbenches where people can work on projects. At the other end there is an open area for demonstrations and exhibitions, opening out onto a terrace. Initially the space will be used for informal learning and teaching within the School of Computing. Project Value £145K. Completed September 2014.
