Kent Bursary

2010/11

Kent Bursary - 06/07 + 07/08 entrants

The University of Kent will be offering bursaries to UK students paying a tuition fee of £3,290 from low income households. The value of the bursary depends on the students household income and is allocated as follows:

Applying for the Kent Bursary is an automatic process for students who have been means tested for their student finance (loans and grants). Students, and anyone who has been means tested as part of their application, will need to give "consent to share" their details with the University when completing the application for Student Finance England.

The Kent Bursary is paid in two equal instalments. The first in December 2010 and the second in March 2011.

The University of Kent will be offering bursaries to UK students paying a tuition fee of £3,290 from low income households. The value of the bursary depends on the students household income and is allocated as follows:

Pharmacy Bursary

The joint University of Kent and Greenwich Pharmacy course will be offering a Bursary to UK students paying a tuition fee of £3,290 from low income households. The value of the bursary depends on the students year of study and their household income and is allocated as follows: (This does not apply to students that started before academic year 10/11)

The bursary for year 1 - 3 students will be paid in one instalment in December 2010.

The bursary for year 4 students will be paid in two instalments the first in December 2010 and the second in March 2011.

Applying for the Medway School of Pharmacy Bursary is an automatic process for students who have been means tested for their student finance (loans and grants). Students, and anyone who has been means tested as part of their application, will need to give "consent to share" their details with the University when completing the application for Student Finance England.

Students that cannot receive Government funding as a result of studying for a qualification that is equivalent to, or lower than a qualification they have already achieved can qualify for the Pharmacy Bursary.

These students will need to contact Student Finance England to be means tested for Bursary purposes.

All Bursaries must be approved by the 16th July 2011 otherwise students will lose their Bursary entitlement for the academic year 2010/11.
