We always aim to manage your requests on the day. Occasionally due to staff absences we are unable to deal with the demand of e-consults. If this is ever the case, You can call reception for help

 

Spring Covid Boosters 24

Eligible cohorts are:

  • Adults aged 75 years and over. This includes those who turn 75 by 30 June 2024

  • Residents in care homes for older adults

  • Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed

You can choose to have your vaccine at any vaccination sites, vaccines will be available locally, including at The Sea Cadet Hall, Vaxhall Road Canterbury CT1 1ZN from Monday 22nd Apri, these appointments will be available to book through the  National Booking Website and by phoning NHS 119.  Please note the Sea Cadet Hall will be open 8.30am-2pm on May 27th May and then reopen for a final clinic on Monday 17th June,   

Staff Training

We hold regular training afternoons for all the staff at the Medical Centre. The training days for 2024 are on the following dates.  4th June, 3rd July, 6th August, 11th September, 8th October, and 5th of November. The Medical Centre will close at 1.00 pm on each of these days.

On these afternoons patients are asked to contact the Out of Hours cover on 111 or 999 in the case of a life threatening emergency. These numbers are free of charge. All outside clinics usually held on these afternoons will be cancelled
