Travel & Personal Accident Insurance
University Travel and Personal Accident Insurance is arranged with Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, and provides worldwide protection for all staff and students who travel on University business or course related activities such as research, work experience and field work. Cover extends to travel within the UK, but only when journeys require an overnight hotel stay, or travel is by scheduled air flight.

Travel Notification Form
You must tell the Insurance Office about each and every journey otherwise you may not be insured. To obtain travel and personal accident insurance simply submit details of your journey online by completing the appropriate travel notification form. There are separate online forms for staff and for students. Any other eligible insured person who does not fall into the category of staff or student such as Emeritus Professors, Members of the University Council or Volunteers, should complete the staff notification form. Please note no other method of notification is accepted. |
