Nights out at university don’t have to end at a nightclub. For something a little different, the Canterbury campus has a thriving arts, cinema and music scene.
Gulbenkian offers a packed calendar of events including live theatre, stand-up comedy and music and is Canterbury’s independent cinema, screening blockbusters to arts house films every day of the week. Gulbenkian Café serves locally sourced, freshly cooked meals and regularly hosts live music, comedy and slam poetry nights.
Student membership
You can become a member for only £5 per year, with discounts across cinema, theatre and in the Café. You can also book in for the popular 2forTuesday half price film screenings every week.
