The School of Arts is a vibrant, inclusive community of academics, practitioners, and students working across the visual and creative arts.
As a postgraduate student, you become part of our specialist community, exchanging ideas and developing your own creative and intellectual interests, informed by expert academic staff. You benefit from industry-standard facilities, as well as a lively programme of research events, including international exchanges, conferences, seminars and symposia. Our academic staff teach or supervise graduate students in areas close to their own research.
We also offer taught Master's programmes at the University's Paris School of Arts and Culture.
Research excellence
The School of Arts has achieved an outstanding result in the recent Research Excellence Framework, with 100% of its research impact and 100% of its research environment judged to be ‘world leading’ by an expert panel. The School’s research has impact around the globe. It informs wider perceptions of art and media and reveals how the arts and sciences can come together to help us communicate, share and engage with new ideas.
