Student Learning Advisory Service

Kasia joined the Student Learning Advisory Service in April 2019 whilst also studying at Kent for her PhD in accessible theatre. She completed her BA and MA at Kent and has held positions in a number of schools and professional service departments, most recently in the Development Office, where she ran the alumni mentoring scheme and coordinated alumni volunteering activities.

Kasia is a Student Learning Adviser, providing general guidance and advice on a range of topics related to studying and study skills, and developing bespoke teaching resources to support academic development. She can advise all students but has particular expertise in academic writing, presentation skills, and research methods in the humanities and arts.
Kasia coordinates the Academic Peer Mentoring Scheme and liaises with schools to develop the scheme. She is also a lecturer in Drama and her academic interests are in performance, literature, disability studies, equality and diversity, and translation and adaptation. Kasia also owns and runs a professional theatre company, specialising in offering accessible theatre for people at risk of social isolation.
