Visitor Parking

Please ensure you have checked if you are eligible to park on the campus at the time you are wanting to visit our campuses. Please note that parking enforcement is in operation

Business visitors

We have a small number of bays dedicated to visitor parking where spaces are pre-booked for parking. These are for visitors who are visiting the campus for business that will assist the University directly to operate effectively as an academic institution.

Contractors working at the University on a regular basis (more than 4 times a month or 12 times a year) may be eligible to have a permit to park depending on agreements and can only be obtained from the Transport Team by the member of staff managing the contract on behalf of the University.

These permits can only be applied for by members of staff using the appropriate Business visitor permit request process.

Conferences and events

For B&B guests and some conferences and events parking may be available. Please check our How to get here page or with the organiser to find out if there are any agreed special arrangements for parking.

An Associate of the University

Persons associated with the University by partnership or have a tenancy agreement with the University and require parking on a regular basis may be entitled to an Associate Permit to Park

Government Blue Badge Holders

Government Blue Badge holders can park for free at any time within any marked bay when displaying their blue badge (with the exception of reserved bays). The Government Blue Badge must be clearly displayed in the windscreen of the vehicle at all times. If the holder of the blue badge is a member of staff or student then they must apply for a permit and display their blue badge. Visit our accessibility webpage for more information.
