About - Tonbridge Centre

The University of Kent's Tonbridge Centre offers a wide range of short courses, postgraduate-level taster courses and professional training courses for students of all ages. Study for self-development, to prepare for a degree programme or to explore a subject purely for personal interest.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE The University of Kent is following guidelines from Public Health England and HM Government, and has decided to stop all face-to-face teaching with immediate effect. The University's Tonbridge Centre will review the situation in May, so will be closed until further notice: staff will be working from home as much as possible. We are in the process of contacting Tonbridge Short Course students individually. Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.

Inspirational teaching

Kent is known for its approachable and accessible teaching style. Our tutors have an outstanding ability to pass on their passion for study and debate. Through direct contact with them, you are intellectually challenged and encouraged to broaden your horizons.

Great location

The Tonbridge Centre has been established in this market town for over 30 years. Our small and friendly centre is located just a few minutes' walk from Tonbridge town centre, public car parks and the railway station.

When you're not in the classroom, take advantage of your location and its historical features. Visit the 11th century castle, walk along the banks of the River Medway or explore the expansive parklands of Haysden Country Park.
