A double-bill featuring work in progress by: 

  • Sweta Rajan-Rankin (SSPSSR): 'De-ontologising race through a new materialist analysis of racial hair: a comparative study of European and Afro hair salons'
  • Katja May (School of English): 'The Pussyhat Project, or texturing the struggle for affective solidarity'

Sweta and Katja will aim to circulate their papers to the group the week before the meeting and, as per our standard format, will present only briefly 5-10 min each) on the day, leaving ample time for questions and discussion.
