Social Media at Kent
Through the @UniKent account the university provides news, events and important announcements to the local community and beyond.
Another main account is our staff Twitter which is a channel to support and provide information on current developments at Kent: @UniKentStaff.
Kent's Facebook wall is open and anyone may post Kent-related news, thoughts, questions, videos and photos. The page is also regularly updated with posts about events, news articles and other happenings on campus.
The University of Kent company page is an online networking community for staff, students and graduates.
The University of Kent Instagram shares pictures and videos of the university and its campus and also utilises its interactive channels such as Instagram TV to keep followers engaged with live video. Kent uses this visual content tool to share Kent's identity and the student experience. We also have two student accounts:
Flickr
The University of Kent Flickr account is used for core photographic collections of our campuses and regions plus specialist collections supporting press activity and events.
YouTube
The University has it's own official YouTube channel to upload videos and collect playlists of its own films.

The University of Kent Pinterest shared photos which showcase our facilities and beautiful campuses to help prospective students plan for their university journey.
Alumni Channels
At Kent keeping in contact with our alumni is extremely important to us and we have the following social media accounts to do so.
- Follow the Alumni Office on Twitter for news about Kent alumni worldwide @UniKentAlumni
- Alumni can keep in touch and catch up on university news by liking our Alumni page
- The university's Alumni Relations team maintains a private discussion group for all current and past students and members of staff of the university. Ask to join now
