Total Positivity: A bridge between Representation Theory and Physics
7–12/01/2016

Lectures will start on Thursday 7th January 2016 at 11am and will end at 3pm on Tuesday 12th January 2016.

Location

The meeting will take place at the University of Kent (Canterbury). The lectures will take place in Maths Lecture Theatre of the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science. Click here for a printable map of the University of Kent.

Travel

Useful information can be obtained here.

Note that Canterbury has two train stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West. The University can be reached by a pleasant half hour walk from Canterbury West, however, it might be more convenient to take a taxi to the University. If the taxi driver doesn't know the entrance to the School of Mathematics, then ask to stop at the bus stop at Darwin College. The School of Mathematics is right behind it.

If you are traveling by Eurostar from Belgium or France, please note that the closest station is Ashford International. There are regular trains between Ashford and Canterbury (West). The journey takes approximately 20 min. Note that your journey Ashford-Canterbury is not covered by your Eurostar ticket. So you will also need to buy a ticket Ashford-Canterbury.
