Alexa is a Chartered Statistician who worked for over 10 years for a company providing services to the pharmaceutical industry, including involvement in and management of staff undertaking data management, statistical analysis and reporting, and quality assurance audits.
Prior to that, she was involved in a long-term project supporting the development of statistical training in East Africa, which involved periods in East Africa training students and staff.
Since joining Kent, Alexa has taught various undergraduate and postgraduate statistics modules, and was the Director of Education for the School for almost 9 years. She is now the Programme Lead and Admissions Officer for the MSc in Statistical Data Science.
Member of the Professional Affairs Committee of the Royal Statistical Society.
