As the UK’s European university, the University of Kent has strong links and partnerships across Europe.
The School of Music and Fine Art welcomes international students from a wide range of countries. In recent years, students have come from Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and the United Arab Emirates. Our year groups are small enough for each student to be an individual, and large enough that you will be one of a small community of international students.
If you are studying on one of our undergraduate programmes it will soon be possible to extend your degree programme to four years, and to spend the third year studying abroad. This opportunity to study abroad is organised through the Erasmus Scheme. You will get a reduction in fees for the year abroad, and a maintenance grant may be provided.
Our proximity to Ebbsfleet International train station makes us almost as close to continental Europe as to London – with Lille, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam within easy reach.
