Kent Institute Research scholars will receive the following:
NOTE: This scholarship call is open to Home applicants. EU and International students are welcome to apply but they must be willing to make up the fee difference between Home and International rates.
The deadline for this scholarship has now passed.
Applications for the Kent Research Institute scholarships will be student-led. Interested students should suggest their own research projects, however we strongly recommend that applicants contact the supervisor/s they have in mind to discuss their research proposal with them in advance of submitting their application. Academic Supervisors should also liaise closely with the Kent Research Institute academic leads. Academic staff contact details can be found on the relevant School/Department’s website or through Findasupervisor.
All projects must be interdisciplinary in nature and require a similarly interdisciplinary supervisory team, however the Institute will help with the formation of such a team, and applicants and potential supervisors are very welcome to contact the Director, Professor Catherine Richardson (C.T.Richardson@kent.ac.uk) or Deputy Director Dr Jim (Chee Siang) Ang (C.S.Ang@kent.ac.uk) for a preliminary informal discussion.
Applications can be made in the following areas: creative technology; arts and health; creative heritage and placemaking; creative education; sustainability and diversity in creative industries.
