Physiotherapy through Occupational Health

It is possible for individuals with musculoskeletal problems to access physiotherapy through Occupational Health.  This can be done by individuals being referred by their manager or by self-referral.  OH has a small budget to fund sessions.  The criteria for application of such funding is that the problem may be work-related or inability to access physiotherapy via the NHS is preventing the person from returning to work.

Occupational Health refer cases to Kent Sport Physiotherapy  All University of Kent staff can self-refer directly to Kent Sport for physiotherapy, so, if someone has a musculoskeletal problem that is unrelated to work and is not preventing them from attending work, they can organise their physiotherapy directly.
