There is a mailing list (low volume) with announcement of CCNCS talks and other events. You can add yourself to this list (or remove yourself from it) by going to the University's listserver system You do not need to login to add yourself to the CCNCS list. Please report problems to Dinkar Sharma.
Location and directions
The CCNCS talks are usually held in Computing, but we occassionally use other rooms.
SB110B, School of Computing, Cornwallis
This is our usual room. To find this room, please use the main computing entrance (situated between the Gulbenkian and the Registry), go up the stairs, make a u-turn, and follow the signs (or the room numbers).
The main building entrance is at J3 on the campus guide. The room is clearly indicated on this map of the first floor of the Cornwallis building. Note that you would enter the building through the door, which is at the bottom, middle, under room S100.
SW101, School of Computing, Cornwallis
This is our alternative room. It is on the same floor as SB110B and marked on this floor map. Follow signs for the "Brian Spratt Room" and you will get there easily. Directions: When you go up the stairs, go directly through double doors, then take a left. Follow the corridor as it winds back and forth, the room will be on your left hand side.
KLT4A, School of Psychology, Keynes
We occasionally host talks here. The building is at N6 on the campus guide. Once you enter the glass atrium, take a sharp left (walking around or under the staircase) and follow the signs that will lead you down a corridor. KLT4A is on your right hand side, second door.
Directions to the University of Kent campus
Directions for travel can be found here on the University website. Visitor parking is limited at the moment and we recommend you take a train, either to Canterbury West or Canterbury East. From both stations, it is a short taxi ride to campus or a one minute walk to the bus stop where a shutle service with dedicated Uni-busses will bring you to campus.
