My research interests lie in social and organisational psychology. Specifically, I have focused on preferences in leadership assessment and selection, and the unconscious biases that can influence candidate choices. My focus is currently on the circumstances in which candidates high in leadership potential may be preferred over candidates with proven leadership experience, and the extent to which such a preference may be explained by a pro-youth bias.
The potential of youth: Does a pro-youth bias accentuate a preference for leadership potential?
