Visiting Research Fellow
I’m a Research Associate working on a project funded by the Newton Foundation, under the supervision of Professor Dominic Abrams.
The purpose of this project is to investigate the social dynamics of tax evasion in the UK and in Italy. More specifically, the current project aims to explore attitudes and behavioural reactions toward tax evaders and how they affect the overall tax behaviour of people.
My research over the last three years has focused on the understanding how groups affect psychological, behavioural and physiological reactions to deviance. I draw on Social Identity Theory, Subjective Group Dynamics theory and the Biopsychosocial Model to examine how group members deal with individuals breaking social norms.
