Carles has a BSc in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Girona (2014), an MA in Communication and Cultural Studies by the University of Girona (2015), and an MSc in Politics and Democracy from UNED (2020. Professionally, Carles has worked as a political advisor at the local level of government (2013-2019). Before moving to Kent, Carles was an associate lecturer in Political Science at the University of Girona (2016-2019).
Carles broad area of study is comparative politics, and topics of interest include nationalism, secession and political parties.
