Two people skydiving, coming in to land

Raising funds for Parkinson's

Parkinson’s Care and Support UK and the University of Kent need to raise £400,000 to fund the world’s first Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy, which will improve lives and bring hope to thousands of people with living with Parkinson’s each year.

You can help to make this happen by signing up to one of our many exciting, challenging and fun fundraising events. Your efforts will bring us one step closer to ensuring that people with Parkinson’s live better for longer.

There are so many ways to go get involved and there truly is something for everyone. From sponsored walks, runs or cycling events to Skydives and creative writing challenges, we have it all. You can get involved with your school, workplace or community group or even collect donations to support our work instead of birthday or anniversary gifts.

Whether you want to achieve a life-long ambition or simply do something to help people affected by Parkinson’s, holding a Fundraising Event really will make a difference to the work that we do.

Step Up 2 Parkinson’s

Whether you stroll, power walk or are pushed, everyone can take part in the Parkinson’s Care Support UK Step Up 2 Parkinson’s sponsored walk.

Invite your friends and family and come and walk through one of our suggested routes or create your own walk to support people living with Parkinson’s.

Skydive

Complete a 10,000 foot tandem sky dive and raise money for the Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy!

A Tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives. It requires only 30 minutes of training before you then jump strapped to your instructor! The BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified tandem instructor does all of the hard work for you, allowing you to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds from over 10,000 feet at up to 120 mph! It is a truly unforgettable experience.

£50 registration fee includes FREE t-shirt. £395 minimum sponsorship.

Creative Writing Challenge

How creative can you be? Put yourself to the test with our Creative Writing Challenge whilst raising vital funds for the Centre. The idea is that everyone who sponsors you chooses a word.  Your challenge is to write a short story which has to include all the words chosen by your sponsors.
