Open Evenings

We host regular open events throughout the year for prospective students. You can find out more information about our programmes, life in Paris, job and internship opportunities and entry requirements/admissions procedures.

Whether you are interested in discovering more about our programmes, full or part-time study options or the teaching methods and ethos of the School, this event is an ideal chance to get a taste of what we have to offer. Our Open Days are typically informal, relaxed events and are open to all whether you are thinking about studying with us, or are already holding an offer. They give you the chance to meet with staff and current students in a relaxed and informal environment.

Paris Open Event: Wednesday 12 April

The University of Kent is pleased to invite prospective students, parents, supporters, and guests to an open evening taking place on Wednesday, 12 April from 18:00-20:00.

This event is for potential undergraduate and postgraduate students and their guests. You can find out more information about our programmes in both Paris and the UK, job and internship opportunities and entry requirements/admissions procedures.

Open events are a fantastic way to meet our staff and students and find out how Kent can help take your ambition further. Our Open evening will be an informal, relaxed event and is open to all whether you are thinking about studying with us or are already holding an offer.

How to get here

Paris School of Arts and Culture is located in the Columbia Global Center (known as Reid Hall) in Montparnasse near the famous Latin Quarter. The nearest metro station is Vavin.

By air

The nearest major airports to our Paris centre are Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY), both with excellent transport links to central Paris.

By rail

The largest railway station in Paris is Gare du Nord, where you may access Reid Hall by metro (see below). The closest railway station to Reid Hall is Port-Royal, which is on the RER B line and links directly to Charles de Gaulle airport and Gare du Nord station.

By metro

Stop Vavin (three-minutes from Reid Hall)

Reid Hall is close to the Vavin metro station. If you are coming from the Gare du Nord, take line 4 (purple) in direction of Mairie de Montrouge. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Reid Hall with no changes. When you arrive at Vavin follow the exit for Bd Raspail, you will exit You will exit the métro adjacent to La Rotonde (a famous café). Carry on along the road and cross over the road towards the sandwich bar. Go straight on along Bd du Montparnasse past the flower shop, Hippopotamus Restaurant and Tschann bookshop. You will see a restaurant called 'Chez Fernand' on the corner of Rue de Chevreuse. Turn left here and Reid Hall is half way down on the left hand side.

By road

Join the Périphérique at  Porte de Bagnolet then stay on the Périphérique to Porte d’Italie and exit here. Take the Avenue d’Iltalie to the roundabout at Place d’Italie. Travel down the Gobelins, up Port Royal and straight on to the Bd du Montparnasse, then in to the underground car park just outside Reid Hall.
