The deadline to apply for the Partner Scholarship is 31st August 2024. Applicants must also firmly accept an offer from the University of Kent before the 31st August 2024 deadline.
You can apply for a Partner Scholarship if you are a current or former* student:
You must also be a UK student and have applied to the University of Kent for an Undergraduate programme (2024 entry) which requires the payment of full fees.

Applicants must also make a firm acceptance of an offer made to them by the University before the 31 August 2024.
*If you are a former student then you are only eligible to apply if your most recent educational establishment falls in to one of the categories above.
**If you are undertaking/have undertaken an Access to HE Diploma at one of these institutions, you are not eligible for this scholarship. Instead, you are able to apply for the Kent Access to HE Ambition Scholarship. Former students from the University of Kent Academies Trust are not eligible for this scholarship. Instead, you are able to apply for the Kent UKAT Ambition Scholarship.
Please note that KMMS students are not eligible for this scholarship.
The Partner Scholarship extends our support for students from local schools and colleges by rewarding those who will make the most positive contribution to the University community. The scholarship is worth £1,000 for each year of study and will be renewed on an annual basis, subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Whilst Partner Scholarships will be awarded by the University of Kent, the selection of successful applicants will be undertaken by their school or college, using the selection criteria. After the deadline for applications, the scholarship contact at the applicant’s last institution will be provided with the names of all the applicants from their institution. Upon request from the school, the application statements for students from their institution will be shared with them to aid the nomination process.
Please note: you are not eligible to receive both the Partner Scholarship and the Kent Ambition to Succeed Scholarship. You are able to apply for the scholarships you are eligible for and your application(s) will be assessed accordingly, but you will only be offered one of these scholarships.

Please note: this scholarship is only available to applicants beginning their studies at Kent in 2024. If you are deferring entry to come to the University at a later date unfortunately you are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
