The exhibition, supported by the University of Kent, will give visitors an opportunity to learn about and celebrate the contributions of The Windrush Generation. The exhibition has events for all ages and will take place in the Namur room at the Chatham Historic Dockyard between 10am to 3.30pm daily.
Professor Alex Stevens, Director of Public Engagement for Social Sciences at the University of Kent, said ‘We are proud to celebrate the diversity of the communities we serve in Kent and Medway. We are very happy to be working with Medway African and Caribbean Association on this important exhibition to recognise the contribution of the Windrush generation’.
