Anyone who wants to learn a new language is invited to explore the University’s courses starting on Monday 23 January.

The four new courses in French, Japanese, Mandarin and Spanish which are offered by the University’s Centre for English and World Languages end on 27 March.

The Language Express courses run in either Keynes College or Rutherford College on the University’s Canterbury campus from 6-8pm and cost £180 to non-University students or staff, with MyCanterbury subscribers paying £153. For more information

People who take the language courses say it not only increased their knowledge of the language of a country, but also its culture, and encouraged them to continue learning the language.

Anyone interested in taking the Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English or Certificate of Proficiency in English can take an exam preparation course at the Canterbury campus.  The next course starts on Tuesday 17 January, with a free taster session. Both qualifications are recognised by organisations and companies across the world.
